Understand result storage and privacy

Calculation inputs are sent to the Yelya server over HTTPS. They are processed to compute time zone rules and are not written to a results database. Routine hosting security logs may record request metadata.

The calculated output stays in sessionStorage in your current browser tab for 30 minutes. Reloading the result keeps it available. Closing the tab normally clears this storage; your browser’s session restore behavior can vary.

Result addresses contain a random identifier, not your title or notes. Sharing an address with another device does not share the result, because the output is stored in your original tab.

Use Delete result to remove it immediately. Downloads are assembled locally in your browser; once a file is saved, you manage that copy. Avoid private notes when someone else can access your device.

No analytics or advertising tracking is enabled in this release. Contact messages are separate: they are stored privately for the operator to read. The contact page describes the actual delivery method.
