Are VODs and live streams supported?
Public clips and completed past broadcasts are supported. VOD jobs support up to 4 hours and 1 GB per file. Live recording is not supported.
Which qualities are available?
Only MP4 qualities provided by Twitch for that clip are shown. Resolution varies by clip; missing 4K or 1080p options are not generated.
Why can’t I download a clip?
Deleted, subscriber-only or restricted videos cannot be retrieved. Clip links last 10 minutes; prepared VOD files last 1 hour. VOD jobs are limited to 4 hours and 1 GB.
Can I publish a downloaded clip?
Rights to clips and their contents belong to their respective owners. Use your own content or clips you have permission to use. Downloading does not grant publishing rights.
